As we can depict from the photos below, it is like looking at a photoshopped media gallery, the model looking mind-blowing with an ultra-futuristic design, highlighted by the lack of the top roof and exquisite transparent blue carbon finishes at the interior.

What is interesting about the chopped-off Pagani Huayra Roadster is that it is more lightweight than its coupe sibling, engineers managing to shed-off around 80 kg, for a total of 1,280 kg, thanks to the new composite materials involved, like carbon fiber and high-strength steel.

There are also plenty of mechanics that are fitted underneath the supercar. We are looking here at new Brembo carbon ceramic brakes with 380×34 mm discs and six-piston calipers up front, as well as 380×34 mm discs and four-piston calipers at the rear end.

The tires were also specifically-designed for the Huayra Roadster, meaning a new set of 20- and 21-inch front and rear respectively. The supercar`s driving modes have also been improved, meaning that drivers will get to enjoy the Wet, Comfort, Sport, Race and ESC Off modes.

The car`s roof also contribute to its increased aerodynamics and driving capabilities, the engineers offering to types – one with light carbon with central glass element, as well as a fabric and carbon cover.

“As we moved forward with the Roadster, we decided to give her a bit more of an edge in order to create a slightly more aggressive shape than the Huayra Coupe…We realized the Pagani Huayra BC was an incredible piece of Engineering so all this technology was built into the Pagani Huayra Roadster…”

As a reminder, the Pagani Huayra BC developed 588 kW and whopping 1,098 Nm of torque, a mind-blowing difference from the standard 543 kW and 1,000 Nm of torque.

And even if Pagani has not yet confirmed the official numbers for the Huayra Roadster, we could foresee around the same 588 kW, the model becoming thus one of the fastest and more powerful convertible with a rear-wheel setup.

And even if it won`t be that fast as the BC, since it will weigh around 50 kg more to compensate the lack of the roof, it will make the headlines of the newspaper with fantastic performance figures. Once available in a limited-run of just 100 units, this particular model will have sold very quickly. We should be able to find out full information at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.

The carmaker has recently started a campaign which announces the arrival of the Pagani Huayra Roadster, set to officially debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. In that sense, it released a series of teaser images of the upcoming cabriolet, with the freshest one seen below.

Also, the carmaker is also presuming working on a more potent BC version, with 588 kW and 1,100 Nm of torque.

As for the performance figures, the Huayra Roadster would be just a slight slower than the Coupe, even if the body had to be reinforced due to the lack of the hardtop. If the coupe sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds, we expect around 3.0 seconds for the roadster, which is not bad at all.

As expected, there are no explicit details with the upcoming Huayra special edition and what we could depict from it is the car`s roof scoop, clearly indicating that the model will be indeed a high-performance edition.

Apart the roof scoop, the video also hints at a lot of carbon fiber body components and standout aero features, which also emphasize an extremely powerful model.

The company`s latest hardcore edition is the BC, which packs a 6.0-liter bi-turbo V12 engine, with 588 kW, the same one that might be used on the upcoming Huayra, but with a much higher output.

The next Pagani Huayra high-performance edition will be exclusively built for Refined Marques, an extravagant car dealer which is specialized in delivering exquisite models like Ferrari, Lamborghini or Bugatti, to its rich customers.
