On the outside, the E7 goes for a sleek shape that feels clean and fairly restrained. Generic, perhaps — or maybe simply minimalist is the better word here. Up front, there’s a shark nose design with split lighting units, C-shaped daytime running lights positioned high, and L-shaped headlights mounted lower down. A central intake is visible too, along with what appears to be an active shutter grille. From there, the body gets softer in its surfacing, with plastic cladding, pronounced wheel arches, streamlined door handles, metallic accents, “galaxy wing” taillights, and a prominent rear spoiler.

Its footprint places it in an interesting spot within Buick’s own lineup. With a length of 190.9 inches and stretched wheelbase of 11,3 inches, the Electra 7 is 8.2-inch longer than the Envision, however, shorter with 16.7 inches than the Enclave sibling.

On the inside, the cabin is loaded with the newest high-tech accessories: flat-bottom steering wheel and a free-standing digital instrument cluster are directed to the driver, and a mammoth 15.6-inch center infotainment system was installed on the dashboard. Other leading features are Oeko-Tex upholstery and a dual wireless smartphone charger.

Then the second row shifts the whole cabin brief. There is a refrigerator back there, plus a ceiling-mounted 15.6-inch entertainment system. The rear area can be turned into a massive lounge by folding down the front seats, providing passengers with relaxation. There are also dual-glass roofs, reclining second-row backrests, second-row climate controls, rear tray tables, a 20-speaker Dolby Atmos audio system, and heated and ventilated seats.

As for the powertrain under the hood, the details are still scarce; however, sources state that the new Electra E7 will feature a plug-in hybrid system with a combined CLTC range of more than 994 miles, with the electric-only travel exceeding 130 miles. The system will consist of a 1.5-liter engine and an electric motor, producing a total of 221 horsepower. However, there might be several configurations with added power. The whole system will also be paired with an LFP battery pack.

Buick has also confirmed an adaptive damping suspension that adjusts 200 times per second, as well as the Xiao Yao Zhi Xing autonomous driving system for highways and city streets.

Design: From the Inside Out

The Audi RS5 advertisement is more uncompromising aesthetically. The body is physically broadened, and the dark Matrix LED headlights give the body a predatory appearance, which is in accordance with the theme of a snake. The interior is completed with sport exhaust and low-profile RS branding to add to the aggressive feeling. Although the official specifications do not state any alterations to the interior and powertrain, the external alterations produce the effect of possibility. The concave alloy wheels that appear in the form of side steps look like black turbines, and also, combined with bigger fender flares, help to make the car feel lower and more locked on the road. The modified rear bumper with a bulging black diffuser and trunk spoiler makes the rear part take a more aggressive pose, although the powertrain may be the same as the version supplied by Audi.

I believe that these digital experiments point to a possible real-life development of the RS5 lineup.

What’s Still Imaginary

The Snake body kit at this stage is merely a given cosmetic idea. There is no announced official version of production, and I have not seen a prototype in the real world. The following time I encounter an actual vehicle, I will be seeking those identifying signature snake-themed features: the amber pixel DRLs, the blackened ring logo and that trademark low stance.

Those renderings build on the regular new-generation A6, adding the familiar RS treatment. Some details appear virtually inspired by scooped prototypes, others clearly borrow from existing RS models. The result feels believable. Not official, but believable.

We already know that Audi is establishing the RS6 Avant alongside the sedan counterpart, with both expected to bear the RS 7 label before the company revisits the typical naming system. It is not clear what lies beneath the skin, as no official specifications are revealed.

However, speculations range from a V8 engine with a hybrid setup to an electrified V6. As a reminder, the current RS6 Avant features a V8 4.0-liter twin-turbo with 621 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. That figure stands as the benchmark for now. The upcoming generation could push output to a little over 725 horsepower, at least according to circulating expectations.

Visually, the sedan interpretation leans heavily into aggression. Or perhaps “presence” is the better word. The front fascia is composed of a wide grille, and the headlights are higher. The general profile is slightly more muscular than the normal A6, it gives it a stronger stance without a change in proportions.

Moving towards the back, the digital renderings are showcasing this gorgeous Audi RS6 with a multi-fin rear diffuser, RS dual oval exhaust tips, and a standout ducktail spoiler. The diffuser and exhaust graphics appear to need additional CGI refinement, though that is part of the rendering process. Also, the car is displayed wearing white and yellow paint jobs, both contrasting with black accents. The car’s design is completed by oversized wheels.

It is rumored that the new RS6 could launch as a 2027 model year vehicle. Until Audi makes the announcement official, however, this remains a digital preview of what may or may not materialize exactly as rendered.

A New Look, New Feel

The earliest official pictures published by Ferrari prove that Luce is not a green version of an existing model. Rather, it is a new platform that incorporates modern design and race history. The cabin is like a 21st-century updated cockpit in the inside.

Lexus has formally presented the new LFA electric concept together with the introduction of the new Toyota GR GT. This design foreshadows a future electric performance model that will be named after the renowned exotic car that was manufactured between 2010 and 2012.

The design of the new Lexus LFA concept is comparable to the new Toyota GR GT. The two vehicles are actually constructed on the same platform and even have the same aluminum body frame. The only tiny difference is in the body design. The Lexus LFA concept has sharper, slimmer LED headlights and a more understated appearance. The front bumper has just one visible air intake. More light is integrated in the center of the front spoiler.

The new Lexus LFA electric concept’s body is made with aerodynamics in mind. For this reason, the doors are slightly carved. The side sills receive an aerodynamic element directly in front of the rear wheels, and additional air intakes are visible behind the side windows.

With taillights that flow into the bumper and nearly form the letter C there, the back has a more aggressive look.

The specifications of the new Lexus LFA concept are 4690 millimeters for length, 2040 millimeters for width, 1195 millimeters for height, and 2725 millimeters for wheelbase.

The LFA concept’s interior is minimalist and futuristic. The steering wheel has several physical controls and is shaped like a handle. The digital instrument cluster and two smaller nearby screens are visible directly in front.

Although Lexus has not disclosed any information regarding the new LFA concept’s electric drivetrain, it is obvious that the concept will soon be turned into a production model.

A Modern Legacy Begins

GR GT is not a new model, it is a statement. Toyota GR (Gazoo Racing) is a division that has built a reputation for road cars being based on racing, and the GR GT is a new step in that direction. The car is an extension of the brand into the consumer market: the first production car to direct the racing DNA of the brand into the showroom, closely connecting the classic Toyota 2000GT beauty with the high adrenaline performance of the LFA.

Aerodynamics and Design

The most notable thing is perhaps its all-aluminum chassis. This is the first large-scale production car that Toyota has constructed in the past that uses an all-aluminum body structure. The design not only reduces weight but also rigidity, which is a win-win performance- and safety-wise. High-strength plastic and carbon-fiber composites are used to reinforce the select panels, providing the GR GT with a contemporary and near-sculptural appearance without adding too much weight (1,750 kg).

The LED palette used in the exterior is similar to the one used in other high-performance Toyota models, with the taillights extending to a violent, slightly curved bar above the rear intakes. It also includes a strong diffuser and four exhaust tips, which are all part of the aerodynamic package to keep the car stationary at high speed.

Interior: Performance in Comfort

The exterior screams track, but comfort and usability were the interior concepts, which I found surprising. The interior is also intentionally clean, and the sports steering wheel has tactile controls for the most important functions. It has a fully digital instrument cluster with live information and a central touchscreen with control over the multimedia system.

The driver has his or her eyes on the road by controls on the center console, which are physical, like the transmission selection. Toyota alludes to the fact that the interior was designed to give maximum comfort, which, when combined with the powerful engine of the car, gives an engaging yet relaxing driving experience. I soon forgot the adrenaline rush, and then the ergonomics of the cabin began to take over.

Performance and Engine: 650 Horsepower V8 Hybrid

At the heart of the GR GT is a 4-liter bi-turbo V8, which is combined with an electric motor to provide an astonishing 650 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. All this power is then released to the back wheels by an 8-speed automated transmission. Although Toyota maintained the secret of the 0-100km/h time, the maximum speed is officially limited to 320km/h- which is a great number putting the GR GT 0 -100km/h next to the McLaren 720S and the Porsche 911 GT3.

Both the rear-wheel-drive design of the car and the use of coil springs (front and rear) in the front and rear double-wishbone suspension give the vehicle fine handling. The performance package is completed with carbon ceramic disc brakes that guarantee the GR GT stops in the shortest time possible.

Road to Racing: The GR GT3

To the fans who wish to drive the car to the extremes, Toyota has introduced the GR GT3, which is a competition-ready model that uses the same base chassis but incorporates a new aerodynamic package. The Toyota GR GT is not just a new performance car, it is an ambitious declaration, declaring that the company is willing and prepared to enter the ultra-high-performance market. The GR GT, with its all-aluminum chassis, violent aerodynamics, and 650-horsepower V8 hybrid powertrain, creates a distinct combination of speed, handling, and comfort. In my opinion, it is an ideal blend of engineering skills and car-centric design, a vehicle that seems to be a contemporary icon.

Although the price has not yet been announced, the very performance and intelligent ergonomics of the GR GT make it a sight to see, even for those who are interested in knowing how the future of a high-performance road car can be. In case the racing heritage of Toyota is reflected in the consumer market, the GR GT may well become the standard of how the car of ultra-performance and appearance must look and feel.

A Final Assembly Line

The German factory that has been synonymous with the Focus for years watched the final car leave the line before the doors were shut and the lights were dimmed.

“Today, we close a chapter that began in 1998 and wrote a story of innovation, reliability, and European style,” said a Ford spokesperson at the plant. “While we’re excited about the future of electrification, we’re also proud of the legacy the Focus has left behind.”

Why the End?

In 2022, production of the Ford Focus was announced to be discontinued. Why? Because as part of a broader strategic shift towards electric vehicles, particularly crossovers and SUVs. The small car, which was a staple in Europe, no longer competes with the influx of EVs and bigger SUVs.

Worse still, to the local labor force, the Saarlouis facility is empty. Ford has offered the facility on the market without getting a buyer. It is unclear what will happen to the plant, as it may turn into a new EV hub, or it may be sold to another car manufacturer.

The Association of European Automobile Manufacturers (ACEA) reported that the market position of Ford dropped drastically in the year 2024. The Ford Motor Company lost its position in second place to twelfth, eliminating the market share it had gained 10 years before. In 2015, Ford was the second-largest automotive manufacturer in Europe, and this position has been difficult to hold in the fast-changing industry.

A Storied History

The Evo

This one was created by Volkswagen Anhui, another subsidiary of the main company. In China, there are many more compartmentalized versions of the company than what is seen in America, though naturally they still work and coordinate together as far as tech is concerned.

The Evo is an SUV that is not short on style. It is being marketed specifically toward a younger crowd, with commercials that make this obvious. The 800-volt platform is the star, and it also features high-performance interior architecture that is widely considered to be state of the art.
