You can instantly recognize an Abarth product, and this one seen here is no ordinary thing, especially from a visual standpoint. The Abarth 124 Spider is now available in the United Kingdom in both manual as well as in automatic. The manual is set at £29,565, while the automatic costs £31,605.

The unique look and personality is given by the special colors, like the “Turini 1975 White”, “Costa Brava 1972 Red”, metallic “Isola d`Elba 1974 Blue”, “Portogallo 1974 Grey” and “San Marino 1972 Black”.

Inside, the cabin is also tweaked with a lot of interesting gizmos as standard, like climate control system, electrically-folding door mirrors, cruise control, or the infotainment system with selector dial on the center console.

Other features also include a 7-inch color display, MP3 player, AUX input, Bluetooth connectivity, DAB digital player and so on.

Under the hood, the Abarth 124 Spider is more powerful than the standard version from Fiat. We are looking here at a 1.4-liter TJet engine, with 200 horsepower, in this case, the tuner adding 30 horsepower. The car achieves a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds, while the topping stands at 143 km/h.

As for the two transmissions, the manual is equipped with a short-shift six-speed configuration, while the automatic received the Sequenziale Sportivo. Other bits that ensure the car`s performance refer to the Record Monza exhaust system as well as the three-gauge instrument binnacle with a large central rev counter, speedometer on the right or a data display and the left.

In case you want to opt for the entry-level version, then you will have to pay no less than £15,090 OTR, this one coming with a good 145 horsepower.

The updated Abarth 595 will come available in a choice of three versions, like the 595, 595 Turismo and the 595 Competizione, the later one being a hot convertible.

The Abarth Turismo will cost £18,290 in the coupe and £20,290 in the convertible, while the Competizione flagship will set you back at the same £20,290 in the coupe and a higher £22,290 in the convertible. The latter two will also add a mechanical limited slip differential, the same one seen on the 685 Biposto.

The same 1.4-liter T-Jet engine is found on the Competizione version, this one adding a power boost, reaching a total of 180 horsepower. On the other side, the Turismo will come with 165 horsepower.

All three versions will be hooked to a five-speed manual transmission, but an optional Abarth robotized sequential gearbox with paddle shifters will be also available, at an additional price.

We are dealing here with a more powerful version of the Fiat 124 Spider that was sent on tests in the US, the prototype revealing an interesting exhaust system with four tailpipes at the back.

In terms of visuals, the Abarth 124 Spider is rumored to wrap an optional matte black finish for the hood, reminding us of the 1970`s Abarth 124 Stradale homologation car.

Under the hood, chances are that the Abarth 124 Spider might use a 1.4-liter four-flat turbocharged engine, with three power configurations: 160 HP, 190 HP, 200 HP+. A higher 1.7-liter is also possible, with an impressive power, the same engine that is found on the high-performance Alfa Romeo 4C, which packs 237 horsepower.

The Abarth 124 Spider is due for the market in the second half of 2016, the tuner company also planning a much more performance version of the 500X crossover.

We are talking about a customized program being carried by the aftermarket specialists from Pogea Racing tuning company, who have transformed the Fiat Abarth 500 into a much faster and more performance model. These particular goodies would have not been possible however, without any makeovers carried out on the body or inside.

We are talking about some weight loss carried inside, where the tuner has dropped the rear seats and reinforced the cockpit with carbon panels, while the center of gravity has been also dropped down by 45 mm.

But this gorgeous looking Fiat Abarth 500 all wrapped with the Monterey Blue exterior finish has received impressive power. For me at least, it is impressive for an Abarth 500 to come with 330 horsepower and 410 Nm of torque, thanks to the modifications carried out under the hood. These include the forged pistons, larger intercooler, new cams, machined cylinder heads, or upgraded turbo.

This should be enough for the cool Abarth 500 to reach 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds, at a topping of 260 km/h. The performance is also given by an upgraded dual-clutch transmission. Pogea Racing has also announced the price for the model, the Abarth 500 costing you 43,500 euros, which is not pretty bad at all.

Called 500 Custom Track Package, the model comes with 17-inch alloy wheels in Diamond Finish, yellow brake calipers, a Record Grey Metallic exterior paint and a satin stainless steel dual exhaust system.

Interior features include sport seats, rear privacy glass, a revised steering wheel, Blue&Me Bluetooth hands free system as well as a 7-inch TFT instrument panel.

Under the hood sits a 1.4-liter petrol unit delivering 135 horses and 206 Nm of torque for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 7,9 seconds and a top speed of 204 km/h.

“Just 65 of the brand’s 500 Custom models are being made available, in recognition of the 65 years since Abarth & C. was formed in Italy by Carlo Abarth,” says the company.

The new Abarth 500 Custom Track Package will be available in a limited run of 65 units with a starting price of £14,990.

Fiat will start the production of the 2015 Abarth 500 with automatic transmission, at the Fiat Crysler`s plant in Toluca, Mexico, since the Coupe and the Cabrio model were only equipped with a manual transmission.

The Fiat Abarth 500 lineup will have a six-speed automatic transmission, hooked to a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine, developing a great output of 360 horsepower and 183 pound-feet of torque.

Jason Stoicevich, the chief at Fiat in North America, stated that the 2015 Abarth will also tweak with a lot of performance that will help the model sell high in the United States.

“Abarth sales increased more than 16% during this year, and we expect this sales success to continue with the launch of this new automatic transmission”, Stoicevich also concluded.

Thus, increased sales will jump also due to the Abarth Cabrio version coming with an automatic gearbox as well, since the month of May has already been declared a winner, with sales up to 66% for this particular model.

What the 500 is (or at least was, before all the new versions of it) in fact, is a hot hatch, and one that still manages to get attention.

Now, we are not saying the Fiat 500 Abarth is a sluggish car by any means, but then again, it also isn’t a road eating beast ready to unleash numerous hundreds of horses. With this in mind, the guys from Pogea Racing decided to supply a power kit for the iconic car.

Coming in two stages, the kit can cost you either $1.115 or $1.251, depending which stage you go for. If you only grab the first stage, expect an optimized ECU that enables the Fiat 500 Abarth engine to produce 162 Hp and 275 Nm of torque. The stage two kit brings a more substantial bump in power, bringing the Fiat 500 up to 168+ Hp and 285 Nm of torque. There is also the option of new 18 inch alloy wheels, should you be interested.

For Fiat, this would have to be Abarth, with every model that escapes their garage coming out a different machine, more powerful and wild.

Some time ago, tuner Abarth let it slip they are considering building their very own vehicle, a Roadster. With such great news, the fans were excited and imaginations started running wild at the possibilities. Unfortunately, in a recent press release, Marco Magnanini, Abarth’s general manager, stated that the Roadster isn’t happening.

Furthermore, as if he attempted to completely ruin the day, Magnanini also said that Abarth will not be applying their craft on the Fiat Panda or 500L models. This basically means that they will only be working with Fiat 500, 500C and the Punto. That will just have to do for now, although some will still hold the hope alive that Abarth will make the step and try to strike out on its own.

Limited to a total of 299 units, the new model comes with a special matte white exterior finish assorted with red stripes. A new set of 17-inch alloy wheels is also available as well as a sunroof and new xenon headlights.

Under the hood sits a 1.4-liter T-Jet powerplant offering 180 horsepower. Inside, buyers will benefit from a flat-bottom steering wheel, alloy pedals, sports seats, metallic trim and red stitching.

The ride is improved thanks to a new suspension system with better shock absorbers while a Brembo braking system ensures the optimal safety. Last but not least, a sports exhaust system completes the list of tweaks.

September 15th is the date when Abarth will start taking orders for the new 595 50th Anniversary Edition with pricing figures to be announced in the coming days.

Both will be available in two flavors, namely coupe and convertible, with a 1.4-liter T-Jet 160hp engine under the hood.

Power is transmitted to the wheels via a standard manual gearbox while a semi-automatic transmission is also available for the customers.

The Abarth 595 Turismo features Xenon headlights, new 17-inch alloy wheels, leather seats, climate control and sport pedals.

On the other hand, the Abarth 595 Competizione gets a new sports exhaust system and new sport seats in addition. Fiat prices the new models from £17,725 (Turismo) and £18,725 (Competizione) in the United Kingdom.
