Along the years, Fiat`s hardcore division has shaped the carmaker`s models, creating unique rides with plenty of new visual enhancements and power boost under the hood. And the their latest creation is the 124 Spider, which has recently received the shop`s special package, called Monza Edition, and introduced in Australia with whistles and bells.

Over the stock variant, this one is packed with plenty of aftermarket parts at the exterior as well as inside the cabin. The new ride also comes enhanced with more safety features and other goodies. However, it doesn’t come cheap, especially since only 30 units will ever be made. You will have to pay at least $47,580 for the 124 Spider Monza Edition with 125 kW and six-speed manual transmission; on the other hand, the 125 kW seven-speed automatic is set at $49,580. So they are both quite expensive, but I think it`s worth the price.

Speaking of the car`s arrival in Australia, Fulvio Antonelli, Director for Abarth Australia, has declared to the press that:

Just like any other special edition created by Abarth, the 124 Spider Monza Edition is available in three colours at the exterior – Turini 1975 White, Costa Brava 1972 Red as well as San Marino 1972 Black, all a tribute to the European Rally Championship wins of the vintage 124 Spider.

Besides the exquisite body colours, the Abarth 124 Spider Monza Edition also stands out from the crowd with other visual enhancements, like LED headlamps and DRLs, Record Monza exhaust system with quad pipes and bi-modal outlet and a couple more. The cabin is also exclusive with the new two-tone laether seats with black and red finish, red-accented mirror covers and so on. The Fiat 126p is an old school ride. From its size to its rather simplistic design, you can tell this particular car is a classic. Now, Fiat`s latest edition as the perfect family car is the all-new 2018 500L, also presented in the video below and which will definitely become quite successful, particularly in Europe. It is genuine, extremely appealing in style, with plenty of room inside and the latest technological gadgetries. The whole package is completed with good power and torque.

There are three variants to choose from – the Urban, Cross and Wagon – each one coming with its own set of rules in terms of driving. People enjoying the new 500L will have the possibility of choosing between driving modes, according to the situation involved – Normal, Traction+ and Gravity Control.

As we can depict from the handful of photos below, the Fiat 500 Sessantesimo will be available in a convertible form only, with only 560 units to be produced, all coming with the exclusive dual-colour paintjob called Dolcevita.

The paintjob comes with a three-layer white on the lower body and pastel Uvory on the upper side. Besides the new exterior colour, the new 500 Sessantesimo also features grey and burgundy wasitrail, chrome side mirror caps, the “560” logo, as well as new badge on the pillars, or the 16-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the Fiat 500 Sessantesimo comes with Ivory leather with contrasting burgundy seams, dual-colour floor mats, along with leather steering wheel and gear stick knob.

First to get exclusivity is the Fiat Toro Black Jack Edition, the gorgeous limited-run pickup truck coming with the same styling elements as the standard Freedom Glex 2.4, but adding as well some other features that will set it apart.

The 124 Spider is based of course on the 124 Sedan, coming with a stylish design created under the strict supervision of Pininfarina and coming over the course of the years with a lot of makeovers and transformations until it would lose its true identity.

Until that would happen, the lovely and gorgeous Fiat 124 Spider has had a wonderful history, with the realm starting in 1969, when the model received some new mods, such as a new 1.6-liter engine which replaced the original 1.5-liter inline flat-four.

Later on, in 1972, the model was also presented to the public with some makeovers inside the cabin, while adding other two new engines, the 1.6- and the 1.8-liter mills, the same one found at the time on the 132. The mills came with extraordinary technical details, such as dual overhead camshaft, double barrel Weber and Solex carburator.

In 1978, there were other engines added, including a 2.0-liter engine, with 87 horsepower, followed by a 2.0-liter twin-shaft, four-cylinder, fitted on the new Spider model, starting 1981. The engine came with 105 horsepower, being upgraded as well in 1983. After that, the model just disappeared into thin air for the next thirty years.

Fiat has brought three editions in the US, the Classica, priced at $24,995, followed by Lusso at $27,495 and the Prima Edizione Lusso special edition, available at $35,000. Each versions come with its own standard and optional features, according to each one`s tastes.

The 2016 Fiat 124 Spider Classica is considered the most affordable spider version in the United States from a performance point of view. The model gets a lot of interesting body styling features, like LED taillights, halogen headlights, black roll bar finish, dual exhaust tips, or the base 16-inch alloys. The cabin is tweaked with black seats and high-end materials with silver accents.

The Lusso trim adds the 17-inch alloys, A-pillar header and roll bar cover painted in silver, while the cabin received the Piano Black accents, along with black or saddle leatherette with cluster brow.
