The latest high-end model to join the exclusive segment is the newly-presented 2018 Infiniti QX50, an exceptional SUV meant to challenge the supremacy of the likes of the Audi Q5 or BMW X3.

The right words to describe the new 2018 Infiniti QX50 SUV come from Christian Meunier himself, Vice President of Infiniti global division:

“The QX50 is the most important vehicle we have ever launched, and it embodies everything the brand stands for: Beautiful design, advanced technology and empowering performance. As a premium, mid-size SUV. It’s the right vehicle at the right time in one of the world’s fastest growing segments.”

Speaking of the new technological enhancements, the 2018 Infiniti QX50 is an innovative machinery, coming in a premiere with the latest ProPILOT Assist system which enables for faster acceleration, increased maneuverability and braking in ”single-lane highway driving conditions.” The system also allows for autonomous functionality just by a push of a button.

Another important innovation is the SUV`s variable compression ratio engine, the first one ever used so far. This means that the car`s 2.0-liter turbo flat-four petrol engine comes with its own compression ratio achieved between 8.0:1 to 14.0:1, via a unique multi-link mechanism which raises or lowers the piston`s own reach. This eventually leads to increase performance and efficiency. Speaking of performance, the new QX50 develops 200 kW and 380 Nm of torque.

Visually, the 2018 Infiniti QX50 borrows most of its concept`s design lines, adopting as well the Powerful Elegance body style, with standout wheel arches and evolutionary front end.

As the carmaker also states, the medium-sized SUV stands on a new platform built from high-tensile steel, which sets new standards for ”refinement, rigidity and interior space.”

Now, the luxury division from the Japanese carmaker has announced the prices for the all-new 2018 QX30, the elegant yet powerful crossover that has already arrived in the United States.

The prices start from $29,950 for the entry-level QX30 and go all the way up to $37,700 for the top of the line QX30 Premium AWD. You can find full details below released by motorward auto magazine.

From a visual perspective, the 2018 QX30 is now looking fresh with mild styling elements – updated LED headlights and LED fog lights, including as well LED daytime running lights, slightly revised rear end with more sculpted rear lights and a choice of new wheel design.

Inside, the cabin has received Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System, RearView Monitor, INFINITI Intelligent key, Dual Zone Automatic Temperature Control, adding as well Nappa leather in the top of the line variants.

As we can depict from the handful of live photos from the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, the car`s main highlights at the exterior refer to updated double-arch grille with three-dimensional mesh, new headlights and taillights, revised front and rear bumpers and a few more.

The cabin is also tweaked with the latest technologies and high-quality materials, with borrowings from the Q60 as well. We should mention the new steering wheel, “spinal support” seats, Infiniti`s InTouch system with colour touchscreens, as well as the 16-speaker Bose surround sound system.

Infiniti has also packed the model with the latest safety gizmos, adding a wide range of engines under the hood. We should mention the 2.0-liter turbo flat-four cylinder with 208 horsepower, 2.2-liter turbodiesel with 168 horsepower, 2.5-liter V6 hybrid with 302 horsepower, as well as the top of the line 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine with 400 horsepower.

Tommasso Volpe, Director of Global Motorsport at Infiniti explains the necessity of a durable partnership like the one closed with Renault:

“We’re very serious about our involvement in F1. We want the Black S to be seen as the road-going embodiment of our technical partnership with Renault. We are developing the power unit now, a big challenge because our car is already tightly packaged. But indications of success are good.”

The high-performance drivetrain uses as well a lithium-ion battery pack which restores the energy gathered from braking and exhaust gas heat, allowing thus for increase response in different situations.

As for the car`s exterior design, this one was also highlighted by Mat Weaver, European design director, stating ”This is a true ‘form follows function’ job that reflects the aesthetics of the Black S’s race-bred engineering. Just ahead the 2017 Chicago Auto Show which opens its gates in a couple of days, Infiniti has decided to officially introduce the less expensive limited editions of the new 2017 Q50 sedan and QX80 crossover, which are called the Signature Editions.

Both limited-run editions are based on the standard models yet offer extremely attractive styling packages for less money.

Starting with the 2017 Infiniti Q50 Signature Edition, all versions are now equipped with high-class 17-inch alloy wheels as well as plenty of new features inside – navigation with voice recognition, tinted moonroof, up-to-date infotainment system as well as a whole range of high-end materials.

Under the hood, both the rear-wheel and the all-wheel versions come with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, with 300 horsepower. The prices start from $39,605 for the rear-wheel drive sedan, while the all-wheel variant can be had at $41,605.

Well, that was not what Domata Peko, a famous NFL player, had in mind when he decided taking its own QX80 to the Larte Design`s shop for some major makeovers at the body. The reason might be exactly as aforementioned: ugly, too boring and not that head-turner.

Larte Design tuning house is famous for its exquisite aero packages and the 2018 Infiniti QX80 might be a real challenge for technicians, but as we can depict from the photos below, their project worked out just fine.

Once left to Larte Design`s shop, the all-new Infiniti received major transformation, all part of their LR3 package, which consists of a massive body kit with standout features. Amongst the top, we should notice the custom-built front grille with the “V” badging, which stands for “Victory”.

Other features also refer to the new front bumper with additional lights on each side, adding LEDs daytime running lights, while the rear end received a new bumper with four 101-mm exhaust tips, adding as well as bespoke diffuser which announces a power boost.

Inside, the cabin was subjected to just a bunch of updates, like new high-end materials and teak flooring. Otherwise, the interior remains stock.

Under the hood, the all-new 2018 Infiniti QX80 comes with the same 5.6-liter V8 petrol burner, churning out 400 horsepower and 560 Nm of torque, being sent to the wheels via a seven-speed automatic transmission. In case you decide to carry out the same LR3 package on your own SUV, then you should be ready to throw in $17,800.

All three trims get the same safety features, like Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent Cruise Control, Blind Spot Warning, Backup Collision Intervention, Distance Control Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Intervention and Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection.

The car looks exceptionally well with the sporty, aggressive body style and updated mechanics. The main highlights refer to the 19-inch sport aluminum alloy wheels, sport brakes with calipers finished in silver, Dynami Digital Suspension and many more.

Inside, the model gets the same special and luxurious feel as any other high-end Infiniti model, meaning carbon fiber trim, semi-aniline leather sport seats, the same one seen on the QX80 SUV, adding as well paddle shifters, aluminum pedals, dual-occupant memory system for the driver`s seat, auto dimming outside mirrors, interior ambient lighting or power tilt.

In the engine department, the all-new 2017 Infiniti Q60 3.0t Sport is equipped with the carmaker`s VR-Series 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, developing 300 horsepower and a good 295 lb-ft of torque. The power is sent to the wheels via a seven-speed automatic transmission.

In terms of pricing, the 2017 Infiniti Q60 3.0t Sport comes with a MSRP of $49,205, including the destination and handling fees, and can go up to $51,205, if you decide to go all-wheel drive. Also, in case you find the price too spicy and don’t really need the sporty features, then you can also choose the Q60 3.0t Premium, now available at $45,205, destination and handling fees included. Well, since we are around two months away from the winter holidays, we get to see another standout out model appearing in the retailer`s catalogue, and this is no other than the Infiniti Q60 Neiman Marcus Edition, available in just 50 units worldwide.

Except other limited editions from the Neiman Marcus`s catalogue which come with a hefty price tag, the retailer`s latest edition introduced, even if we are looking a luxurious model, isn’t that expensive, the Q60 Marcus Edition being available for just $63,000. And if you decide to buy one of the 50 units available, Infiniti will donate $1,000 to the Heart of Neiman Marcus Foundation.

For that price, we get to enjoy plenty of high-end features at the exterior, starting with the Solar Mica colour and continuing with carbon fiber accents on the fender vents, mirror caps, rear spoiler and fog-light finishers.

Inside, the cabin welcomes you with Gallery White leather sports seats, Silver Optic Fiber interior, adding plenty of gadgetry, like Bose Performance Series premium audio system, INFINITI InTouch infotainment system and so on.

In the engine department, the one-off Infiniti Q60 Neiman Marcus Edition is equipped with the same 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine, the same one found on the 2017 Red Sport 400, developing 400 horsepower.
