I personally own a 1998 Jaguar XJ 4.0 Sovereign, with a naturally aspirated V8 engine, and I am extremely delighted with this jewel of a car. The “Jaaaaag” company has entered my soul because it has created some masterpieces on 4 wheels throughout its history.

The final F-Pace was produced in the Jaguar Solihull plant (United Kingdom) and marked the 90-year history of the internal combustion engine-powered automobiles of Jaguar.

As we can depict from the media gallery below, the 2018 Jaguar XJ50 Special Edition is highlighted by a choice of four colours at the exterior – Loire Blue, Rosello Red, Santorini Black and Fuji White, which perfectly blend in with the massive 20-inch Venom alloy wheels and anniversary badges. It is in fact a restomod, with more than 4,000 parts to be refinished, rebuilt or replaced. The result is truly magnificent and spectacular.

“This is my ultimate XJ – my third, and lovingly named ‘Johnny 3’. It has been a true labour of love between Jaguar Classic and myself. The technicians from Jaguar Classic Team needed more than 3.000 hours to complete the difficult tasks of transforming the 1984 Jaguar XJ into a unique piece, which they have called “Greatest Hits.”

There are plenty of highlights that make it unique and absolutely magnificent. The technicians have worked their magic on the front and rear bumpers, adding as well flared wheel arches to fit the massive 18-inch alloy wheels. Other characteristics also refer to 235/45 R18 Pirelli PZero tires, LED headlights, new seals which reduce wind noise, as well as upgraded front and rear suspension system with adjustable rear bumpers. The new styling bits and the wheels are perfectly complemented by the exquisite Mauve exterior paintjob.

The Jaguar XE SV Project 8 is limited to just 300 units, which makes it extremely expensive – 149,995 Euros – meaning plenty of exquisite details at the exterior and enough power under the hood to successfully rival BMW`s new M5.

The XE SV Project 8 comes with a wide range of exterior details and new mechanics. Amongst the most important ones we should mention the carbon fiber aero package with Carbon Fiber Bumper with Cooling Ducts, adding as well Carbon Fiber Bonnet, 20-inch forged aluminum alloy wheels, Flat Underbody, adjustable Front Splitter, rear Carbon Fiber Bumper, rear Diffuser, or adjustable Rear Aerodynamic Wing.

This is the cheaper alternative for the $41,990 MSRP Jaguar F-Type, the new SUV coming with plenty of borrowings from its bigger brother, in terms of design and interior features.

Even if it is set below the F-Pace, the future E-Pace is going to be big, big enough to accommodate enough room for rear legroom, adding as well additional compartments for luggage and other personal items.

The Ingenium engine family comprises an interesting choice of two petrol burners and a diesel.

Starting with the petrol engines, we are looking here at a 2.0-liter pot, offered with 197 horsepower in the XE and 246 horsepower in the XF.

On the diesel side, the company introduced the same 2.0-liter but with twin-turbocharged configuration on all three models, allowing 236 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. This particular engine has also suffered some modifications, receiving new mechanics – like pistons, crankshaft and up-to-date fuel injectors.

Besides the high-performance engines, Jaguar has also equipped its 2018 models with new driving features. We are looking here at the new Configurable Dynamic system, available on the XF and XE, meaning that they offer a wide suite of driving features, depending on the driver`s own choice.
