Arriving in New York starting with March 28th, Lincoln`s new Aviator concept is a new interpretation of luxury meeting technology, comprising an extremely-evolutionary design and the latest high-tech gadgetries.

The new Aviator is also likely to borrow some styling elements from the well-known Navigator, also becoming the predecessor of the MKT, which hasn’t met success at its highest level during its years of existence on the market. It will thus sit between the Nautilus and Navigator.

Overall, the Lincoln Aviator will comprise the carmaker`s design philosophy, also seen on the Navigator, featuring as well its own bits like wider front grille with illuminated Lincoln emblem.

As for interior highlights, recent reports state that the cabin would be as luxurious as any other new models from Lincoln, or even more luxurious. We are looking here at premium leather upholstery, wood trim or the company`s latest SYNC infotainment system.

As for motorizations under the hood, the new Lincoln Aviator is likely to come as well with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, just like the future Explorer. As for the standard powertrain, according to the latest rumors, we could find the same 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, also found on the Lincoln Continental or the MKZ. However, the output would be significantly higher than the present 400 horsepower and 542 Nm of torque.

After the official introduction at the 2018 New York Auto Show, the new Aviator will arrive in dealerships across the United States somewhere next year.

And I have to agree with many famous auto magazines worldwide that have said that the 2017 Lincoln Continental is the perfect alternative for many premium sedans from BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Bentley or Rolls-Royce.

The new 2017 Continental looks fantastic with the high-class feel, highlighted by just a few outstanding elements which create however the perfect design – and that would be the built-in door handles, massive alloy wheels, new LED lights and much more.

And just like a Cadillac, Rolls-Royce or Bentley, the car`s special feel is inside, with the cabin boasting with the latest high-end materials, adding cooled and heated seats with massage features, updated infotainment system with connectivity and other optional features.

The optional features refer to 10-way heated power front seats, rear seat AC/heat vents, SYNC3, eight-inch LCS touchscreen, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, wood trim for the door panels, Lincoln Premium Audio System with ten speakers and much more.

In the engine department, the 2017 Lincoln Continental can be had with a choice of two engines, like a base 3.0-liter V6 gasoline mill, with 400 horsepower and 542 Nm of torque, followed by a bigger 3.7-liter V6 mill with 305 horsepower.

The 2017 Lincoln Continental is available in the United States with three engines, the 3.7-liter naturally aspirated V6 with FWD and WWD, developing 300 horsepower, followed by the 2.7-liter turbo Ecoboost V6 with FWD and AWD, churning out 335 horsepower as well as the topped 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 aith AWD system and Dynamic Torque Vectoring, outputting a good 400 horsepower.

The 2017 Lincoln Continental comes with four trims, the 3.7L V6 Premiere, available at $45,485, which will go against the Cadillac 2.0-liter flat four CTS with 268 horsepower or the 3.6-liter V6 XTS with 304 horsepower.

The 3.0-liter EcoBoost 400 horsepower costs $60,105 in the Reserve trim and $69,105 in the Black Label, the latter one taking on Cadillac`s CT6 AWD with 400 horsepower, which is priced at $64,395. This particular version is also cheaper than the Audi A7 Sportback with 333 horsepower, available at $68,300 or BMW`s 550i xDrive with 445 horsepower, which costs $69,595.

The 2017 Lincoln Continental in the Premiere entry level costs $45,485 including the $925 destination fee and is followed by the Select version with $48,440, Reserve available at $54,840 and the topper Black Label which sets you back at $63,840. But depending on the plethora of additional tweaks, the most expensive Continental can go up to $82,400.

Each version comes with its own features, adding the extra packages which can empty your packet in an instance.

The entry-level Premiere can be had with the Select Plus package, available at $1,255 featuring the SYNC3 infotainment, blind-spot monitoring and so on, while the other three variants can be had with the $695 Climate Pack, with rain sensing wipers, automatic high beams, heated rear seats and steering wheel.

The Technology Package is also available for the Select, Reserve and Black Label, meaning that for $3,105 you can get adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, lane keeping assist, enhanced active park assist and 360-degree camera.

The high-end versions Reserve and Black Label can also add the $4,300 Rear-Seat Pack, consisting of panoramic sunroof, multi-contour rear seats, heated and cooled rear seats, as well as inflatable rear seatbelts.

Under the hood, the Premiere entry-level and Select pack a 3.7-liter V6 engine, while the Reserve and the Black Label are fitted with the 2.7-liter as standard. In case you want to through away another $3,265, then you can have the latter two with a 3.0-liter V6 displacement, with 400 horsepower.

The model will be available with a FWD and AWD layout system. Under the hood, the all-new 2017 Lincoln MKZ is packing a 3.0-liter V6 unit, with 350 horsepower and 451 Nm of torque in the FWD version, while the AWD receives higher power, 400 horsepower and 541 Nm of torque.

The 2016 Lincoln MKX also called the “Quiet Luxury” model is highly appreciated and praised by representatives from Lincoln, stating that the SUV was built to satisfy its fancy clientele, boasting with luxurious features and powerful engines under the hood.

And since we are at it, the technology that the 2016 Lincoln MKX will come with is reflected by the multitude of safety features, like the Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection system, the Lincoln Drive Control, Adaptive Steering, Lane Keeping system, Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Information as well as the Cross-Traffic Alert system.

Under the hood, the 2016 Lincoln MKX is also impressive, packing two mills, the stock 3.7-liter V6, with 303 horsepower and 376 Nm of torque, as well as the more advanced 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged Ti-VCT EcoBoost V6 engine, with 335 horsepower and 510 Nm of torque. The 2016 Lincoln MKX has a base MSRP price of $38,995 in the Premier version and can go up to $54,210 in the Black Label version.

This is surely to be an U.S. specs model, being based on the CD4 platform, coming with a front-wheel drive layout, which is borrowed from Ford and seen on other models, such as the Lincoln MKZ, the Fusion or the Edge Crossover. In size, the 2016 Lincoln Continental is 197-inch long, with an at least 200-inch long-wheelbase, making it common with the 2016 Ford Taurus.

The new Lincoln MKX is expected to benefit from a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 unit producing around 300 horsepower. We know this as it is based on the Ford Edge so the powerplant should be borrowed from that particular model.

In terms of styling, the MKX concept plays an important role as the new model takes some design cues from the prototype revealed few months ago.

To be more specific, the new MKX comes with revised bumpers, new LED headlights, a panoramic glass roof, a wing-shaped front grille and extended rear fenders.

Enter the cockpit and you will find leather upholstery, metallic inserts, wood trim, a floating center console and a Revel sound system for an immersive experience. The retweaked infotainment system completes the set of changes for the new Lincoln MKX.
