MN LINC now offers professional development and hands-on training in the application of methods and techniques for incorporating horses and other animals in human wellness and development programs. The MN LINC Professional Development Program will help you clarify and focus your vision for participation in the exciting field of animal-assisted therapy and education. This unique program supports you in critically evaluating your present skills as well as identifying areas needing further development and experience.
Delivery of AATE takes study, practice and supervision. Like any other specialty, it takes time and effort to learn the nuances and specific considerations of effective techniques and methods. The process may be shortened depending on the willingness of the individual for critical self-evaluation. Animals can be incorporated into your present career with some study and workshop experience or you can create a new career focus with more in-depth work.
MN LINC's staff features people with over 30 years of experience in delivering AATE programs on the local, national and international level. Our staff have worked with a variety of animals - from horses to dogs to birds - and in a wide range of settings - schools, mental health facilities, one-on-one, and corporate groups - allowing you to benefit from their broad experience. The MN LINC staff is recognized internationally for delivery of focus and quality in their training programs.
